  • 1 bucket of açaí sorbet from Vibe Açaí (3.79 L)
  • 1 waffle cookie or cup per serving
  • Toppings of your choice, such as granola, fresh berries, coconut, or Isdalen Peanut Butter
Tips

Many people think that açaí for scooping and açaí for soft-serve are two different products. They’re not. The same tub of açaí sorbet can be scooped straight from the freezer or thawed and processed in a Giotto machine. That way, you get both from a single product and a single inventory.

Procedure

  1. Place the container of açaí sorbet in the refrigerator until it has thawed, preferably overnight.
  2. Stir the thawed sorbet well and pour it into the tank of a Gelmatic Giotto 11, 12, or 21.
  3. Start the machine and let it freeze until it reaches the correct consistency, as described in the user manual.
  4. Hold the cookie or cup under the faucet and pour in a steady spiral.
  5. Top with granola, berries, coconut, or peanut butter, and serve immediately.
